Shout-Outs

  • Thank you to every grade level for living the core value of committing and following through by providing parents a fun and engaging activity to do during Family Fun Night! Parent engagement continues to be an area that needs our commitment and follow through!
  • Thank you to Mrs. Rivaldi and Ms. Morris for committing and following through with their presentation at the Chula Vista Elementary School Districts’ Parent Academy on Saturday. Ms. Morris presented on how to incorporate AVID Strategies with your student and Mrs. Rivaldi’s session focused on using everyday objects at home to do simple engineering activities.

 

Information

  • New Character Strengths: Please take some time with your class to teach and celebrate our two new Q2 Character Strengths: Curiosity & Self-Control (school-work)
  • Email Groups: Feaster Charter now has a whole staff email group, FeasterStaffGroup, that should be used instead of the Feaster Distribution Email. You can find this by going to the groups section under your folders on your Outlook Email. To make sure that your email shows in everyone’s inbox, make sure you click the icon at the bottom that says, “group broadcast” when you scroll over it. Please see Heather if you need support using this.
  • Electives: Please make sure your elective rosters are up to date and that your plans are posted where your grade level posts lesson plans!
  • Donors Choose/Feaster Blog: Mrs. Walker is available to help anyone who is interested in funding a project for yourclassroom find the resources or set up a Donors Choose. Those interested in funding flexible seating, rugs, couches, bean bag chairs, etc. can email her and she will follow up with you to set up an account!
