STEM Week 26 Announcements

● We have a Growth Mindset ● We Keep all Staff & Every Student in Mind ● We Commit & Follow Through ●

Shout Outs

  • Shout Out to Mr. Reggie and Coach Chris for Committing and Following Through, they were recognized at the Olympic Training Center on Saturday for being Champions of Chula Vista for their commitment to youth sports.
  • Shout out to Marta for having a Growth Mindset as she prepared for the start of kinder registration next year which has a new online component! Also, our Middle School Applications and DI Interest Forms are now available online! The office staff has been supportive of the new processes and is helping parents to navigate them!

Information

  • iPads: IPads should NOT leave the classroom for students in elementary school unless requested by RSP, this includes students working outside on the ramps with iPads. We have had a significant increase in broken and lost iPads, please help by reminding your students.
  • Tech: We have continued receiving a large number of devices with broken screens or damaged covers. When we return from break, we will all need to work together to go back over routines and procedures for using the iPads correctly. This means that our first week back from spring break will be spent without devices so that we can work together in preventing more from being damaged or misused. We will be following up with more strategies and resources and giving more specific information as we get closer.
  • Tutoring: if you are interested in tutoring after school there is an opportunity to get paid! Please see the coaches for the form, you’ll need to fill it out and turn in regular attendance.
  • Other: please leave in the info about our blog and social media
  • Blog: Don’t forget to follow our Feaster Charter blog by clicking “follow” at the bottom of this website: https://feastercharter.wordpress.com/ and entering your email address!
