Shout Outs

  • Shout Out to the Kinder Team for Keeping students in Mind as they celebrated the 100th day of school! Kinder students have learned so much this year!
  • Shout Out to Esther Granados, Cecilia Aguirre, Laura Gates, Michelle Gallegos, Ashley Morris, Kristen Kirkpatrick, and Elizabeth Aderholdt for Keeping all Staff & Every Student in Mind by facilitating the Making Meaning PD – Closed Reading/3 Reads PD this past Thursday. We appreciate you sharing your expertise and knowledge and facilitating great conversations!

  •  ELPAC: This week we begin testing! Keep in mind a few reminders:
    • Walls need to be covered for all subjects, except Math and Spanish
    • Technology isn’t allowed, which includes Apple Watches. Please call the front office if you need assistance and Marta, Melissa, or Marcela will radio someone to assist you.Teachers can pick up testing boxes in Room 201 at 7:00, which will need to be signed in and out each day.
    • THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR FLEXIBILITY THIS WEEK as we try to ensure that Teachers are supported and students are assessed!
  • iPads: IPads should NOT leave the classroom for student sin elementary school unless requested by RSP. We have had a significant increase in broken and lost iPads, please help by reminding your students.
  • Donors Choose: Last week, we had several emails with Donors Choose requests! A school wide project will be put up on the site this week using your requests. If you have other flexible seating supples you would like added, please send Heather a link!
  • Instagram: You can now follow Feaster Charter on Instagram at @FeasterCharter and @Feasterathletics
  • Twitter: On Tuesdays, Apple will host an educator twitter chat at 6:00 PM using #AppleEDUchat Week at a Glance3rd Grade After-School Duty ** Q3 Zest & Gratitude** We will have 10 Chinese Exchange Students visiting this week! They will be buddied with our 6th – 8th Grade STEM classes!
