A blog post has been written detailing information about Hour of Code and Swift Playgrounds: If you would like the Swift Playgrounds app uploaded on your devices, please email Heather Walker.
  • Blog: Don’t forget to follow our Feaster Charter blog by clicking “follow” at the bottom of this website: and entering your email address! Thank you to Roel Mislan, Christine Carreno, Victoria Bernazzani, Julie Medina, and Joe Guglielmo for already following our blog.
  • Twitter: It has been great to see everyone’s Tweets using #FeasterLearns and tagging @FeasterCharter! Keep it up and we will be on our way to an effective online learning community! If you have not yet tweeted or emailed something you are doing in your classroom, please do so ASAP. Heather will be following up on this.
  • Donor’s Choose: Thank you to the teachers who have requested help getting this started or who have started their own! The Amazon Business Marketplace will not be available until 12/28 due to the holidays. You can still send Heather your Donor’s Choose needs, but not all items will be available.
  • Elective Showcases: Please make sure to invite a VAPA class from your grade level band rotation to come to your class to see your showcase. It is important that the kids get practice speaking and presenting in front of an audience. Please also invite parents, it is listed in our monthly newsletter, but invitations from classrooms individually are much more personal!
